London’s Great War memorials are not only among the finest in the country, but also the finest in the world.

In this walk we will explore a range of Great War memorials from the quaintness of that dedicated to the Camel Corps through to Charles Sargeant Jagger’s brooding masterpiece for the Royal Artillery at Hyde Park Corner.

Along the way, we will contextualise these memorials by looking at a selection dedicated to other conflicts including the Guards’ Crimea Memorial and that to Bomber Command on Piccadilly.
